They set up this crane in the dome and lifted the MS-15 Star Projector from its pedestal.
The crane was on rollers.
They then rolled the MS-15 to a pallet jack.
The MS-15 was assembled in the dome. Getting it out in one piece was challenging.
That is Karl with the long beard guiding his beloved Star Projector out of the dome. A bitter-sweet moment.

It is not easy letting go.
That big box was built in advance. It was built too small. A few 2 x 4s were added to the base and they had the MS-15 boxed up and on the truck just before the rain.
This picture is of Ken and Karl. Ken Hawthorne, a community member with close ties to the Planetarium, generously had the MS-15 boxed and safely stored until we can find a good home for it.
